# Exporting or Deleting Account Data

Railnology provides tools to download a copy of your personal data or permanently delete your account, in accordance with GDPR Article 15 (Right to Access) and Article 17 (Right to Erasure).

### Accessing Data Management Options

1. Open your account by clicking your profile in the top right corner.
2. Navigate to the **Settings** tab.
3. Scroll past the Legal Documents section to find the data management options.

### Exporting Your Data

1. Scroll to **Export My Data**.
2. Click **Download My Data**.

Railnology prepares your data export — including your profile, organization memberships, credentials, activity history, and more — and downloads it to your device.

### Deleting Your Account

1. Scroll to **Delete My Account**.
2. Click **Delete Account**.
3. Confirm the action when prompted.

> **Warning:** Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data — including credentials, HoS history, compliance records, and activity — will be permanently removed. Export your data before proceeding if you wish to retain a copy.

> **Note:** If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the billing portal before deleting your account to avoid continued charges.
