# Logging a Test Result

Administrators can manually log individual drug and alcohol test results directly in Railnology.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **RegIntel → D\&A Testing**
2. Click **Log Result** in the top right
3. Select the crew member from the dropdown
4. Select the **Test Type**: Random, Pre-Employment, Post-Accident, Reasonable Suspicion, Return-to-Duty, or Follow-Up
5. Select the **Result Type** (see Understanding Test Result Types)
6. Enter the **Test Date**
7. Enter the **Laboratory** and **MRO** (Medical Review Officer) if available
8. Click **Save Result**

## Notes

* Results are saved immediately and appear in the results table
* Non-negative results automatically trigger a removal flag
* All entries are timestamped and attributed to the logging administrator
