# Understanding Your Dashboard

The **Today** tab is your daily operations center. It gives you an at-a-glance view of your current duty status, active alerts, and crew availability.

### Dashboard Sections

**HoS Clock In/Out Widget** The clock in/out widget shows your current duty status and lets you log on and off duty. It displays five states: Off Duty, On Duty, Clocked Out, Resting, and back to Off Duty. See Section 3 — Hours of Service for full details.

**HoS Alert Feed** Active HoS alerts for your organization appear here. Alerts are color-coded by severity and cannot be disabled. Each alert shows the affected crew member, their current duty time, and the applicable regulation.

**Crew Snapshot** A grid view of your organization's crew and their current availability status. Use this to assess crew readiness at a glance before assigning trips.
